Slack Community Support & Troubleshoot

The Slack eCommerce Academy is a community where founders, entrepreneurs and fans of online eCommerce based startups learn together how to build successful, sustainable and better eCommerce businesses.

All members of #Slack eCommece Academy are encouraged to introduce themselves in the #General channel upon arrival. Give the community a short description of who you are and what you’re working on. Feel free to share what you are looking to get out of the community, as well.

All members of #Slack eCommece Academy are encouraged to introduce themselves in the #General channel upon arrival. Give the community a short description of who you are and what you’re working on. Feel free to share what you are looking to get out of the community, as well.

We encourage members to create meaningful and respectful conversations around their experiences, concerns, pains, barriers and anything related to online marketplaces.

We have a number of topic channels. If the subject you wish to discuss does not fit in one of these channels, please use the #General channel. If the discussion in #General would be best suited in a topic, try to migrate your discussion there.

Active participation and genuine interest in the community goes a long way towards user engagement with what you are promoting. Thus, you’re invited to share what you are working on and keep the community up to date as you release new features or products, but please create discussion around your work. Please do not “cross-post” your message to multiple channels.

Link-dumping is forbidden and will adversely affect what you are trying to achieve by sharing your link with the community. Moderators will remove such messages.

We encourage members to use their real name and represent themselves with a profile photo. Do not misrepresent yourself. We want  a transparent community where we can make new friends around the world.

Slack eCommerce Academy is a community of professionals. Although the community permits a wide range of humour and profanity, please be respectful to other members.

As with any large group of people, disagreements will happen. We understand that you’ll have some strong opinions, but we still expect courtesy during a debate, and expect you to refrain from personal attacks.

If you wish to get  someone invited to the community, please contact one of the admins.

This guidelines are to keep a productive and constructive conversation. Thanks for your understanding.

Failure to follow any of the community guidelines can result in your messages being removed (either automatically by our bot, or at an administrator’s discretion).

Repeated violation will result in loss of access to the community.
